Camperized Ford E150 2003

Description

We’re selling our converted 2003 Ford Econoline (E150) !

The “Glamp It” has served us so well during our 6 months road trip, we took it all the way up to Alaska from Vancouver and back with no issues and absolutely loved our home on wheels 🏠🚐

Price = 14 000 CAD (or equivalent in Euros)
We’re looking to sell it in September or early October, in Vancouver or nearby. We’re currently Squamish if anyone is interested to see it, can drive towards Whistler or Vancouver for a seeing !

* The Van :
– 154 000 km only
– V8 4.6L Gasoline Engine
– Gas consumption : we’ve been doing around 13-14 L / 100 km
– Tires : Motomaster Eliminator X-Trail A/T, still good to use, maybe not on snow
– Passed the ICBC inspection in 2022, ~4 000$ of work done towards the suspension, brakes, tires, & alignment (can show invoice)
– Main battery changed in July 2024 (750 CCA, 200$, 2 years warranty, can show invoice)
– Oil changes done on a regular basis, last one done in August 2024
– Vehicle inspection + brake pads changed in August 2024, van is in great condition according to the mechanic (can show invoice)
– No rust issues

* The Home :
– Fully insulated (7.5 R value via Owens Corning Foamular 150 + Spray Foam)
– Roof rack with solar panel that charges a Jackery Explorer 300 ($420), we use it to charge our electronics + fridge
– Also has an auxiliary battery that we tested in July 2024
– Eberspacher Diesel heater (1300$) – The heater is not functioning at the moment, but we’re pretty sure it’s an electrical issue and not an issue with the heater itself. We’re looking into it, will update if it’s fixed
– 51L 12v Dual fridge/freezer ($609)
– Roof lights, lots of storage, foldable bed with nice foam mattress
– has a sink
– Swiveling passenger-side Captain’s chair that allows the Van’s living area to open up
– Wooden interior for a cosy atmosphere

*Comes with a lot of handy items :
– Winter chains
– Jack
– Extra cooler
– 2 camping chairs
– stove, pot, pan, cutlery, tupperwares… all cooking gear
– back of seat storage + other small storage baskets
– 1 Aquapak 10L that we use for potable water + 1 collapsible 10L container that runs into the sink (would need to change it) + 1 Aquapak 20L that collects the dishwater
– 12V fan
– Reading light
– Emergency toilet
– Solar shower in not so great condition but can be given if you want it
– Also some maps & touristic brochures if you want them
– Bedding + pillows + tea towels if you want then

Very reliable Van from our experience, very functional too, could be made prettier if you’re a bit handy. We find it’s a perfect compromise where there’s a nice comfort and room (you can sit up straight on the bed and it’s quite easy to move around between back and front), but it’s still a rather compact van that’s easy to drive and park anywhere – we were glad to access some beautiful remote camping spots on narrow roads and still have a nice comfy van !
