We built this van, our fourth, to travel for three months around Europe in 2022 and have since used it in France and UK. We have gone 6 days without hookup running the fridge, lights, a low watt cooker, coffee machine and fan, plus charging phones, ipads etc.
This was the biggest van we could get in our drive and so we needed a way to make a full size bed and enough seating fit, hence the gas strut idea, which we are really happy with.
Double bed on gas struts no messing about with cushions and making the bed each night, just lift the bed and you have a seating area below.
Truma water heater can use EHU or gas. Takes around 15 mins to heat.
