After 11 amazing months in New Zealand where we’ve covered North to South, its time to sell our trusty Eugene as me and my partner are leaving to continue our adventures overseas! Eugene has been super reliable through out and we’ve never had any issues, mechanically sound, beast up hills and through the mountains of which there are plenty. We wish we could bring Eugene with us but this unfortunately isn’t possible.

We have customised the back to have a super comfortable Torpedo7 duo inflatable mattress (worth$400) along with bedding, thick duvet, blankets, pillows and fairy lights! You’ll be so cosy you wont want to get out of bed on those cold mornings! Plenty of room for a couple or just a single person. In the boot, there is a section that folds up to access the ample storage underneath and a place to cook under shelter of the boot door.

We manage to keep our food, cooking equipment, cool box, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery and gas cooker, as well as clothes, shoes, bags, gadgets and pretty much everything we need regularly for 2 people, all underneath the bed which you can access from the boot and side doors. There is also a handy shelf behind the front seats for extra storage of wash bags, towels, shoes etc. On top of the car there is a roof rack and roof bag which will fit all of your other accessories. We keep 2 full 65L luggage bags, 2x camp chairs, camp table, 2x yoga mats, 2x floor rugs and almost everything else you’d have with you. There’s still room to fit a surf board on the roof racks if you need. As well as a side awning which comes in super handy if it’s raining or for shade when it’s sunny, it’s really easy and quick to put up and take down and very sturdy in the wind. The bed and frame work can be removed if you wanted to use the car as a normal 5 seater car, which itself is in top condition with all original features and leather seats.
