📍Christchurch & surrounding area

No problems during more than 2 months of travel on the 2 islands! We were the second generation of Backpackers to use this car, so you’ll be the third!😁🚗

MAINTENANCE ⚙️

-Oil filter and oil change

-Replacement of both rear shock absorbers

-Timing belt replacement

-Change of 2 front tires

-Change of battery and choke

-New front windscreen wipers + one new pair remaining

-New inspection of the car carried out on 05/12/2024 when the battery, choke and two front tires were changed.

-Tire alignment check performed on 05/12/2024

BEDS 🛌

-Bed for 2 people with comfortable mattress (2 pillows, 2 pillowcases, comforter, fleece blanket, fitted sheet and sheet).

-Complete privacy: tinted rear windows on the sides and curtain on the front and rear (at trunk level).

KITCHEN 🧑‍🍳

-Gas cooker, kitchen utensils (can opener, vegetable peeler, knives, cutting boards etc.), plates, cups, glasses, bowls, cutlery, 2 tea towels.

-1 mini gas cooker to heat your water to make coffee or tea (to avoid turning on the big one).

-2 large storage boxes plus Tupperware

-Hand pump with 2 x 25L canisters (one for clean water and one for waste water).

-2 camping chairs

-1 camping table

OTHER 💡

-1 clothesline

-1 parasol

-1 camping lamp

-A string of lights inside the car

-Plenty of storage space

-Portable toilet (never used)

-A few tools

-A separate battery in the back to charge your electronics.

-Electric pump to inflate tires if needed

-2 new puncture kits (one for small punctures and another for large ones).

-A new pair of windshield wipers.

-New engine oil.

We finish our journey on January 30 in Christchurch, so I’ll be (my friend will have just left New Zealand) available from 31/01 to show you the vehicle in Christchurch and the surrounding area!😁🚗
